Numi is a self-hosted chat app for research, coding, data analysis, and file tasks. Connect your model provider or local server, then follow responses, tool calls, and available reasoning traces as they stream into the chat.

Where your data goes

Chats and returned reasoning are stored on your instance. Requests go to the model provider you configure; enabled tools and background memory/title tasks can also contact external services. Self-hosting gives you control over those choices. See Privacy and data.

Reasoning effort, stored traces, and replaying traces on a later turn are separate features. How reasoning is preserved explains their boundaries.
