Run Numi

For instance owners and administrators. Start with Install Numi for a new deployment.

Connect and deploy

• Providers and endpoints: connect API credentials or a local model server.
• Manage models: add selectable models, choose the default, and import or export your catalog.
• Docker deployment: run the service, preserve data, update it, and put it behind HTTPS.

Control behavior and access

• Tool access: choose which tools can load and understand the code interpreter boundary.
• Memory: configure background extraction and retention after reviewing the account controls.
• Context compaction: opt in to summarizing long conversations and tune the threshold.
• Files and PDFs: configure document extraction when the default processing needs adjustment.
• Preferences and prompts: find the server prompt layers and their limits.

Maintain the instance

• Database migrations: back up and upgrade an existing database.
• Security: authentication, isolation, and deployment boundaries.
• Privacy and data: storage, external services, export, and deletion.

Use the Configuration reference to look up individual environment variables. Restart after changing environment settings; model catalog changes made in the Models page take effect at runtime.
